　　3.第3句的兩個分句語義聯(lián)系不太緊密，可分譯成兩句。“這些線路將會按照中國高鐵建設(shè)標準來鋪設(shè)”雖無被動標識詞，但實表被動，翻譯時需譯作these rails will be built...。“按照中國高鐵建設(shè)標準”作狀語，可用現(xiàn)在分詞短語 following China's high-speed railway standard 來表達，也可用介詞短語 by China's...,或是 in accordance with China's...來表達。

　　4.第4句的主干是“中國承諾……為……承擔建設(shè)費用”為“承諾”的具體內(nèi)容，故可采用promise that...的句型，或用promise to do sth.的結(jié)構(gòu)。承諾的內(nèi)容有兩個，分別是“提供……”及“甚至……承擔……”，譯文將其處理成了兩個并列的不定式，用even連接，表遞進。修飾“國家”的定語“愿意向中國提供自然資源的較長，故將其處理成定語從句，用that引導，譯作that are willing to give China natural resources.

　　The dragon dance is widely popular among various ethnic groups throughout China. As early as in the Shang Dynasty, there were records about people gathering to worship the dragon and pray for rain. Poems and articles in later dynasties are rich in their descriptions of dragon dances. Even today, the dragon dance is still the most typical form of entertainment at festivals and celebrations. In China, there are over a hundred kinds of dragon dance whose performance is increasingly diverse and colorful. Displaying the Chinese spirits of being united and progressive, the dragon dance is China's precious cultural heritage and one of the symbols of Chinese culture.

　　1.第2句中的“就已經(jīng)出現(xiàn)了......的記載”可用表存在的there be句型譯出。“人們聚在一起祭龍求雨”是“記載”(record)的內(nèi)容，是其同位語，可以用同位語從句that people gathered to...來表達，也可用介詞短語about people gathering to worship the dragon and pray for rain 來表達。

　　2.翻譯第3句中的“舞龍仍是喜慶節(jié)日場合最常見的娛樂方式”時，先譯出主干(the dragon dance is a formof entertainment)，再插人其他成分。“最常見的”可表達為the most typical，也可譯成mostcommonly seen作后置定語。地點狀語“喜慶節(jié)日場合”表達為at festivals and celebrations，置于句末。

　　3.第4句“全國的舞龍有......，表演形式越來......”可譯成并列結(jié)構(gòu)there are over... and the performanceis increasingly...，但如把后半句處理成定語從句 whose performance is increasing...,則結(jié)構(gòu)更緊湊，邏輯關(guān)系更強。

　　4.最后一句中，“舞龍體現(xiàn)了......，是中華民族......，(是)中國文化......，為3個并列結(jié)構(gòu)，可照原結(jié)構(gòu)來翻譯;The dragon dance display...，is...，and is...，但這樣處理譯文顯得繁冗拖沓。宜把“舞龍體現(xiàn)了…”處理成原因狀語，用表示一般狀態(tài)的現(xiàn)在分詞短語來表達，譯作Displaying the Chinese spiritsof...，“團結(jié)、奮進的精神”可譯為 spirits of unity and prepress，但不如譯為spirits of being united andprogressive，這樣更能表現(xiàn)出動作的生動性，也更達意。
