　　1.修身、齊家、治國、平天下:“修身”即“修身養性”，"齊家”即“管理好家族”，“治國”即“治理好邦國”，“平天下”即“平定天下”。簡單地說，這句古訓意為“修養身心，而后才能治理好家族、邦國和天下”，故譯為Cultivate the mind and then regulate the family, state and world,其中的“國”并不是現代意義上的國家，而是指“諸侯國”、“邦國”，故譯為state。
