Occupying a seat is common in universities.It haseven become an unwritten rule and a hiddenrule.Anywhere where seats are relatively rare, be itclassroom, canteen or library, occupying a seathappens.People differ in their opinions about thisphenomenon.Some agree while some disapprove of it.It is a widely-known fact that seats oncampus are limited.Under huge pressure of examinations like the final examination, judicialexamination, CET-4 and CET-6, students have to spare time to occupy a seat, which makesbusy studying life more disturbing.

　　“到此一游(dao ci yi you)”是指有人到過某地(游玩)。近期，網(wǎng)上的—張圖片引起了人們的密切關(guān)注，圖片顯示，埃及的一處遺跡(relic)被刻上了“丁錦昊到此一游”。這一事件在社交媒體上受到廣泛關(guān)注，該中國游客的可恥行為一時激起了公憤。此外，還有很多其他游客或損壞歷史遺跡表面，或在旅游景點(diǎn)插隊(duì)、亂丟垃圾、大聲喧嘩。中國國家旅游局(The Chinese National Tourism Administration)呼吁游客注意自己的行為。但是批評不良行為、推行良好規(guī)范不應(yīng)該只是說說而已。提髙游客的文明程度需要長期的努力，開展公共教育、家庭教育并推進(jìn)立法。

　　Dao ci yi you means someone once visited aplace.Recently,a photo on the Internet drew people'sclose attention which showed“Ding Jinhao dao ci yiyou”in Chinese characters carved on a relic inEgypt.The incident attracted wide spread attentionvia social media and stimulated public anger at the shameful behavior of this Chinesetourist.Besides Ding,there are many other tourists who have defaced historical interests, ormisbehaved by cutting in line,littering and making loud noises at tourist attractions.The ChineseNational Tourism Administration calls on tourists to pay attention to their behavior.Butcriticizing bad behavior and promoting good norms should not be just lip service.To raisetourists'civilization to a higher level requires long-term efforts devoted to public and familyeducation and also legislation.

If they don't do so,they break the law.The new law, however, has given rise to a public debate on whether it is feasible.Many people doubt whether the law is enforceable, because it does not clarify how often people have to visit their parents.In addition, working people who live far away from their parents will find it difficult to take leave to go home regularly.Some scholars have praised the law,though, because it is aimed at arousing people's awareness of loving the elderly and reminding them to always keep their obligations in mind.
