3.“更長(zhǎng)的假期”:翻譯引號(hào)中的內(nèi)容時(shí)可以采用so-called,例如“可以享受更長(zhǎng)的假期,”就可以翻譯can enjoy a so-called longer holiday,這樣可以表達(dá)出原文諷刺的語(yǔ)氣。
4.以更長(zhǎng)的工作周為代價(jià):可譯為at the price of a longer workweek。At the price of意為“以…為代價(jià)”，也可用at the cost of來(lái)表達(dá)。
5.公眾不是很接受這種安排:可譯為has not been well received by the public。其中receive意為“接受，認(rèn)可”。
6.如果假期是以更繁重的工作任務(wù)為代價(jià)…:可譯為If holidays are coming along at the cost of aneven heavier burden...
