　　2.第2句“中國擁有的自行車數量高居世界榜首”如果逐字對譯為The number of bicycles in China has ranked the first in the world 稍顯生硬和不地道，不如簡單處理為 China boasts the most bikes around the world來得傳神，動詞boast表“自豪地擁有”之義。

　　3.在第3句中，“隨著社會的發展”可譯為介詞短語with the development of the society;“騎自行車的人有所減少”實際說的是人數的減少，翻譯時應進行增譯，處理成the number of people... declines;定語“騎自行車的”可處理成定語從句，譯作who ride bikes，也可用分詞短語riding bikes來表達，置于中心詞“人”之后。

　　6.最后一句若直譯為This is the result of Chinese people's beginning to... and...則表達啰嗦，不如處理為 This is because Chinese people begin to... and...，這樣表達更簡潔到位。“健康生活方式”是一個隱含了 比較意味的表達，翻譯時應有所體現，可譯為a healthier lifestyle。
