According to a study, a large number of people,particularly smokers, have no idea that the third-hand smoke is a health hazard for people. Of the1,500 smokers and nonsmokers surveyed, the vast majority agree that second-hand smoke isharmful.But when asked whether they agreed with the statement,“Breathing air in a room wherepeople smoked yesterday can harm your health,”only 65% of nonsmokers and 43% of smokersgave the affirmative answer.
