　　在寫作過程中，一定要避免過度使用口語化，或者簡單化的詞匯。比如：“購買” 可以說成“purchase”而不是“buy”，因為寫作是書面體的文章，過多地使用口語化的詞匯不僅與文體不符，還顯得考生的詞匯量不夠。

　　2.切忌重復使用單一詞匯

　　優秀的英語文章是可以用不同的詞匯，表達相近的語義，以此反映語義間微妙的差異，比如英語中僅僅表達“好”的意思就有許多種不同說法，pretty / excellent/ perfect / marvelous / wonderful / superior / appealing / good等等，所以在考試中要注意前文出現的詞匯，后面盡量避免反復使用。

　　4.一定要注意寫作文體，和語氣的合理運用

　　文體不同，寫作用語和語氣也會有所不同，如論述類的文體需要更加嚴謹和規范的用語;書信類文體需要真誠和自然的用語;廣告類文體則需要激情和有號召力的用語，只有把握不同文體的用語風格才能選用合適的語匯與句法。同時不同的文體對于寫作的格式也有各自的要求，例如：信件與廣告的格式就各不相同。還有，中國考生在英文寫作時常常會將漢語表達的習慣帶入到英語文章中來，出現許多如“should”、“must”、“need”這樣的情態動詞，而這種語氣并不符合歐美人的表達習慣。

　　5.注意不要將漢語表達直接翻譯成英語

　　寫作和翻譯不是一回事，寫作既是內容的闡釋，也是表達方式的嶄新運用，所以從內容到形式都應該符合地道英文的用語習慣，是內容和形式的完美統一，其中漢化的痕跡越淡越好，這就需要考生通過閱讀和仿寫大量優秀文章來逐漸提高其寫作水平。
