如何用英語去商店購物
　　1. 店員招呼顧客的常用套語：
　　Good morning， sir. 先生，早上好。
　　Good afternoon， madam. 太太，下午好。
　　Can I help you? 你要買東西嗎?
　　May I help you? 你要買東西嗎?
　　Can I help you in any way? 你要買什么嗎?
　　What can I do for you? 你要買什么嗎?
　　What can I show you? 你要買什么嗎?
　　Are you being severed? 有人招呼你了嗎?
　　Is someone looking after you? 有人招呼你了嗎?
　　Is anyone taking care of you? 有人招呼你了嗎?
　　Yes， please? 你要買東西嗎?
　　2. 顧客對店員招呼的回答——想買東西：
　　I want some apples. 我想買點蘋果。
　　I‘d like (to buy) a toy car for my son. 我想為我兒子買架玩具汽車。
　　I need a pair of shoes， size 24. 我要一雙24號的鞋子。
　　I wish to buy a school bag. 我想買個書包。
　　I‘m looking for a skirt for my daughter. 我要為我女兒買條裙子。
　　Please show me this pair of glasses. 請給我看看這副眼鏡。
　　Let me look at these stockings， please. 請讓讓我看看這些長統襪。
　　May I have a look at the neck ties? 我可以看看這些領帶嗎?
　　Do you sell tea pots? 你們賣茶壺嗎?
　　Do you have sweaters? 有毛衣賣嗎?
　　I wander if you have any English dictionaries. 不知你們有沒有英語詞典賣。
　　3. 顧客對店員招呼的回答——不想買東西：
　　(I‘m ) just looking， thanks. 只是看看，謝謝。
　　4. 店主向顧客詢問情況：
　　What kind would you like? 你喜歡哪一種?
　　What colour do you prefer? 你喜歡什么顏色?
　　What size do you want? 你要什么尺寸的?
　　What size do you wear? 你穿幾號的?
　　What size (colour / shape)， please? 請問要什么尺寸(顏色/形狀)的?
　　Are these all right? 這些行嗎?
　　Do you like this one? 這個你喜歡嗎?
　　How [What] about this one? 這個怎么樣?
　　How do you like this one? 你覺得這個怎么樣?
　　What do you think of this one? 你覺得這個怎么樣?
　　How‘s this one? 這個怎么樣?
　　How much do you want? 你要多少?(問不可數名詞)
　　How many do you want? 你要多少?(問可數名詞)
　　Anything else? 還要別的什么嗎?(5. 顧客賂店主詢問情況：
　　Have you got a bigger [larger] size? 有大一點尺寸的嗎?
　　Could I have a look at it? 我可以看看嗎?
　　May I try it on? 我可以試試嗎?
　　Do you have any other kind (size)? 有其他種類(尺寸)的嗎?
　　Is this the only colour (size /shape) you have? 只有這一種顏色(尺寸/形狀)嗎?
　　6. 詢問價格的常用套語：
　　How much， please? 請問要多少錢?
　　How much is it? 這要多少錢?
　　How much are these apples a kilo. 這蘋果多少錢一公斤?
　　How much does it cost? 這要多少錢?
　　How much do you sell it? 這個你賣多少錢?
　　How much is it altogether [in all]? 一共多少錢?
　　How much does it come to? 一共多少錢?
　　What‘s the price of the suit? 這套衣服賣什么價?
　　What‘s the price for the bananas? 這香蕉賣什么價?
　　What does it cost? 這要多少錢?
　　What do you charge for it? 這個你要多少錢?
　　What does it come to? 一共多少錢?
　　7. 對詢問價格的回答套語：
　　It‘s five yuan. 5元。
　　It costs ten dollars. 這要10 美元。
　　They‘re two dollars each. 每個2美元。
　　The coat sells for [at] 80 pounds. 這外套賣80英鎊。
　　The price is marked on it. 價格就標在上面。
　　「交際指南」
　　1. 顧客走進商店，店主最常用的兩句話是：Can I help you? 或 What can I do for you?但是，一般不說：What do you want? 或 What do you buy? 因為這不太禮貌。有時店主因事(如生意太忙)，未招呼顧客，顧客也可以主動發問或提出自己的購物想法。如：Do you have any shirts for little girls? (你有小女孩穿得裙子嗎?)I‘d like to see the cap. (我想看看這帽子。)
　　2. 出于禮貌，有時顧客買了東西后，往往說上一句Thank you，店主則用 You are welcome 之類的話回答。有時還會補上一句Come again， please，而有時則可能是店主把顧客所買的東西包好(wrap up)，在收錢時微笑著說一聲 Thank you.你若是對其服務態度滿意，也可用Thank you 來回答，若只是報之一微笑或不吱聲，也沒關系。
　　3. 詢問價格的說法有很多：
　　How much is it?
　　How much does it cost?
　　What does it cost?
　　How much do you sell it?
　　但為了方便起見，其實只需說兩個詞就可以了：
　　How much ，please)?
