英語四級聽力技巧之計算題
計算題中應注意對話中的具體數字，抓住其類型是時間，還是價格、重量、或數量以及其針對的相關動作或事件，在聽的過程中有目的地做筆記，為以后計算做好充分的準備。以下為與數字相關的常用詞匯及表達方式。

【預測】 看見選項帶有“$”的符號，可斷定這題是考與錢有關的內容，選項中的B和D又是倍數關系，往往為貨幣倍數計算題，所以確定B、D為最可疑選項。
【解析】 原文中出現4個數字，首先，聰明的你必須分清楚它們分別代表什么，之間有什么聯系：“10”代表一張面值10美元(bill)的應付鈔票，“2”代表要買的2張門票(tickets)，“1.40”代表所找的1.40元零錢(change)，“1”代表問題中問到的1張門票值多少錢(cost)。再來計算，不難發現 (10-1.40)/2=4.30，答案為B選項。

【預測】 通過選項發現此題的答案小時都為5，分鐘各不同，可預測到這題肯定是考分鐘的加減運算，并且分鐘之間差額按順序都有15分鐘，故判斷原文中可能會圍繞“fifteen minutes”的計算。
【解析】 原文中共出現兩個數字，因此在聽的過程中注意與這兩個時間有關的動作或事件。5:30代表航班起飛的時間，明白leave代表只剩下15分通關的意思，不難聽出它們之間的加減關系，所以A和C可以排除，剩下用減法，答案為B。
