事實狀況題
　　事實狀況題是指根據(jù)原文中提供的信息（同義詞）尋找相對應(yīng)的正確答案。在答題之前應(yīng)分析四個選項相互之間的聯(lián)系，通過其之間的差異或共性找出線索是解題之妙方。
　　【例1】 2000.6
　　M: How are you getting on with your essay, Mary? I’m having a real hard time with mine.
　　W: After two sleepless nights, I’m finally through with it.
　　Q: What do we learn from this conversation?
　　A) The man thought the essay was easy.
　　B) They both had a hard time writing the essay.
　　C) The woman thought the essay was easy.
　　D) Neither of them has finished the assignment yet.
　　【預(yù)測】 選項都提到essay，聽時一定注意關(guān)于雙方essay的看法。
　　【解析】 兩人對話均對這個論文發(fā)表意見“having a real hard time（費了九牛二虎之力）”、“two sleepless nights（熬了兩個通宵）”，可見兩者都覺得論文難寫，與B答案相對應(yīng)。A、C與原文相反。女士說“I’m finally through with it”表示已經(jīng)寫完，故排除D。
